Committed to Improve Your Game - Regardless of Your Level or Experience
Fortunate to be introduced to the game of golf at the age of five. Countless hours on driving ranges, golf courses and traveling throughout the world playing as a professional. More than half a century later and still a passion for the game. I welcome an opportunity to bring your game to the next level.

Enjoy the Game
I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people in the world! I have been playing golf since I was 5 years old. I had very successful amateur and collegiate careers before declaring professional status in 1981. I have enjoyed playing and teaching the game for over 55 years.
My father, Boyd Barrett, taught golf for 50 years. My sister, Sharon Barrett, played on the LPGA Tour for 18 years and was a winner on the Tour. Following her retirement from the LPGA tour, Sharon taught golf for 13 years.
I have been teaching golf for over 38 years. This gives me a firm understanding of what works and doesn’t work for my clients. Golf technology may change over the years; however, the basic fundamentals are key. My two components in a lesson are to keep it simple and make sure the person is having fun.
I don’t know too many golf families that have more than 100 years of experience playing and teaching the game. I welcome an opportunity to make you a better player.
Individual golf instruction customized for your level, experience and ability. I provide instruction with experience levels ranging from beginner to professional. Includes video swing analysis on the driving range, pitching, chipping, bunker play and putting. Tips and drills so you can work on your game between lessons.
Group lessons are available for for a variety of options including corporate events, friends, family, etc. Contact me directly to find the best experience for your group. Limited to a maximum of five participants.
